About Safety Town
Safety Town is two-hour a day, two-week program for five (5) and six (6) year old children (not older, not younger) that teaches safety lessons on strangers, traffic, pedestrians, fire, bicycles, bus, poisons (including drugs), water and guns.
This community service program has been sponsored by the Greensboro Police Department, the Nat Greene Kiwanis Club of Greensboro, and other area local civic and business organizations for over 35 years.
It is fully accredited by the National Safety Town Center of Cleveland, Ohio and a staple for the design of other facilities around the country.
Safety Town is a partnership between the Greensboro Police Department and the Nat Greene Kiwanis Club of Greensboro.
Ambassador Registration (Early Registration) is $105.00 and General Registration (April 1, 2019) is $35.00 - cost includes credit card processing fee.
YOUR CHILD MUST BE 5 OR 6 - NOT OLDER OR YOUNGER - AT THE TIME OF THE SESSION IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE!
Highlights of the Ambassador Program which is available online on February 1, 2019 around noon:
1. You are able to change sessions ONE time anytime prior to the start of Safety Town.
2. You get to support a GREAT program that has been in Greensboro for over 40 Years

General Registration will open April 1, 2019 (no joke).
All registrations are FINAL. No changing sessions allowed for general registrations.
NO REFUNDS. NO TRANSFERS. ALL REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ONLINE.
